Despite this, the album sold 296,756 times for the whole year and was ranked 44th in the 2005 list of the best-selling albums in Japan. Also, Crystal Style is their second best-selling album. The second concert tour, which was called Crystal Kay Live Tour: 05 CK Style , followed from March 19 to May 6 and had a total of nine concerts. 2006 to 2010: Falling sales and popularity

As the only single of the year, by Crystal Kay, she released her single Kiraknui / Together on February 8, 2006 . Kirakuni is the latter's first single, which apart from the Japanese title in the chorus is sung entirely in English. The song Together, however, was used as the theme song for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Japan. She then released her sixth studio album, Call Me Miss… that same month , which contains the singles Koi ni Ochitara ( 恋 に お ち た ら ), Two as One and Kirakuni / Together . On June 20, Crystal Kay released her seventh studio album All Yours , which stayed in the Oricon charts for 14 weeks and sold a total of around 137,000 times. The studio album reached the top of the Oricon charts for the first time in Kay's career and is her only record to date that landed at number 1. Kay released her first EP, Shining , on November 28, 2011. The EP consists of five titles, including a cover of Natalie Cole No More Blue Christmas . The album caused a stir, because although the album only sold a little over 33,000 times, it was awarded gold by the RIAJ. The RIAJ only awards records with 100,000 CDs with gold. Color change! is ranked # 289 of the best-selling albums in Japan in 2008 and has been their first studio album since 2001, which sold less than 100,000 copies. Their first download single released Crystal Kay on December 15, 2008, which Deate Kiseki ( 出 会 え た 奇跡 ) is called.

For the film Dolan's Cadillac , Crystal Kay recorded the song Hold On in 2009 , it is the soundtrack and the closing music for the film. The song was sung entirely in English and was also used internationally. The song is on the B-side of the single Journey: Kimi to Futari de . On August 12th, Crystal Kay tried her 25th single back in the charts, the single After Love: First Boyfriend / Girlfriend features two duets. After Love: First Boyfriend is a song with the Japanese singer Kaname (from the band Chemistry ), the song Girlfriend is a duet with the South Korean singer BoA . The single has the song Deaeta Kiseki ( 出 会 え た 奇跡 ) as the B-side . However, all of this was only enough for number 31 on the charts, the single sold almost 4,000 times and stayed in the charts for three weeks. Crystal Kay released her second compilation Best of Crystal Kay to mark her ten-year existence on the stage . The album was released on September 9th in Japan, on September 24th in South Korea and on September 26th in Hong Kong . On April 24th, Kay gave a Q&A for her fans on her blog . A fan asked if she was considering making a Korean-language debut since her mother has Korean roots. Kay replied, “I can speak very little Korean ( lol ). I can read and write perfectly, but learning the vocabulary is so difficult! It is not good that I do not hear or speak it. I should think about making a Korean language debut! I would love it if I could sing Korean. ”She also moved to Delicious Deli Records, a Universal Music Japan label, on October 5th . For October 10, 2012, Kay announced another download single Endless Love . The song is a duet with the successful artist Lionel Richie and is described as a timeless love song. Kay was also selected for Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary to sing the theme song Eyes on Me ( Final Fantasy VIII ). The song is the 13th track on the Final Fantasy Orchestra album , which was released on December 26, 2012. She also flew to London to perform there at the anniversary.

It was announced that Kay has joined a musical group called the Dance Earth Party , which consists of three other members, Usa , Tetsuya and Nesmith , who come from the Japanese musical group Exile . Together they release the first single Inochi Rhythm ( Japanese イ ノ チ ノ リ ズ ム ) on January 16, 2013 . For her 27th birthday, Kay released her fifth download single on February 27, 2013, which is called My Heart Beat and has another title, Kaze no Kanata ( Japanese 風 の 彼方 ), as the B-side . In October of that year, an official English language website for the United States was opened with a new song called Dum Ditty Dumb in the background . This was a reference to a US debut.

Since 2014: debut in the United States and new management policy

For Valentine's Day 2014, she released her music video for Busy Doing Nothing , which was filmed in New York , and previously opened an official Facebook page, which is always in English, for her fans around the world. Since February 23, 2014, the song is also offered on iTunes . The single didn't get much attention, however, as did their subsequent releases Rule Your World (May 2014) and Dum Ditty Dumb (August 2014). On its release, the downloadable single, Dum Ditty Dumb , she titled the song's style as Yokohama Ratchet Pop . This new style derives from the influences of the traditional Japanese koto and her spirited voice, which changes effortlessly from the English to the Japanese language.

In 2015, Crystal Kay returned to the Japanese market. Under the management policy of the talent agency LDH , which she had already joined in 2013, she announced her 30th single entitled Kimi ga Ita Kara ( 君 が い か か ら ) for June 3, 2015. Previously, the song The Light was released as a download on April 10th - the song was the Japanese promotional song for the Samsung Galaxy S6 / Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone . Then the single Kimi ga Ita Kara was released as a download in May of that year. The reason the song was released as a download before the physical single was because the song was used as the theme song for the drama Wild Heores and should therefore be available upon broadcast. What is special about this is that Takahiro (from the Exile music group ) plays in this series and is a very well-known artist from the LDH talent agency. A collaborative single with Namie Amuro under the title Revolution has been announced for September . The single debuted at # 6 on the Oricon charts, making it her first Top 10 entry since the collaborative single Two as One with Chemistry in 2005. Finally, the download single Nando Demo was announced for October 22nd of that year ( 何 度 で も ; any number of times ). At the same time it was also announced that their eleventh studio album would be released on December 16, 2015, which later got the title Shine . The studio album sold more than 17,000 copies, and it also achieved a top ranking of 10, making it her first Top 10 entry and her best-selling album since Best of Crystal Kay (2009).

On March 23, 2016, Kay released her single Sakura , in whose music video Yūki Furukawa and Riria Kojima played, but at the time of publication the single was not successful. That same year, she released the download single Waiting for You (CM Ver.) On June first , which was used as a promotional song for Musee Platinum in Japan. The song previously found its place as the original version as the second track on their March single Sakura . In September she released her single Lovin 'You which was not a commercial success as the single only entered the Oricon charts at # 149 and stayed there for a week. In December 2016 the album Cyborg by the French rapper Nekfeu was released on which she sings the chorus in Japanese in the song Nekketsu .
