Anna Tsuchiya ( Jap. 土屋アンナ , Tsuchiya Anna * 11. March 1984 in Tokyo , Japan ; actually Anna Marie Heider Tsuchiya ) is a US-based J-pop - and J-Rock - singer , model and actress with Japanese and US -american roots.

Career

Tsuchiya, the daughter of a Japanese woman and a US father of Polish-Irish descent, first worked as a model for a magazine before founding the rock band Spin Aqua with Kaz Iwaike in 2002 . The band released several singles as well as an album before disbanding in 2003. After their marriage and the birth of their child, Tsuchiya played one of the two main roles in the Japanese comedy film Kamikaze Girls . For her portrayal of Ichigo Shirayuri she won the Japanese Academy Award for Newcomer of the Year in 2004 and received another nomination for Best Supporting Actress , as well as other awards. By 2010 Tsuchiya Anna had made a name for herself that can be counted among the greats. As a singer and model, she especially impresses with her unique style.

In March 2010 she gave birth to her second son "Shinba".
