Tetsuya Komuro ( Japanese小 室 哲 哉Komuro Tetsuya ; born November 27, 1958 in Fuchū ) is a Japanese keyboard player , songwriter and music producer . He is known as one of the first producers of "dance music" in Japan. His pseudonym is TK .

He is known for the manga and anime series City Hunter (1987), Vampire Hunter D (1985) and Street Fighter II (1994). His music albums are released on Sony Records , Virgin Records , Epic Records and Avex Trax . He has been married to the singer Keiko Yamada since 2002 . Both are members of the electronic band Globe.

In January 2018, Shukan Bunshun magazine reported that Komuro had cheated on his wife with a nurse who later became known. He came under strong criticism because his wife Keiko suffered a stroke in 2011 and has been in hospital with the consequences ever since. At a press conference, he said crying and apologetically for the fact that he had known her from him since she was hospitalized, but never had sexual contact with her. He then announced his retirement from the music industry to draw a line with his personal life.

The retirement lasted three months as he was appointed as the new music director of the MMORPG "Guardians". Since spring 2017 he has worked on 29 titles for the game.
