Shinjitai
Shinjitai ( Japanese 新 字体 ; Eng. "New character form") is the new form of the Kanji used in Japan , which was introduced in 1946 during the writing reform . The original signs are called kyūjitai ("old signs").
With this reform of the Japanese Ministry of Education 1950 "everyday Kanji" ( Tōyō Kanji ) were listed, the structure and strokes were partially simplified.
Also in the People's Republic of China , the characters have been simplified from the late 1950s ( abbreviation ), but often with different shapes and a much larger scale.
