Shiritsu ( Japanese 私立! 美人 坂 女子 高校 , Shiritsu! Bijinzaka Joshi Kōkō , dt. About: "Private school! Girls' high school on the hill of pretty women") is a manga series by the Japanese illustrator Mayumi Yokoyama . The approximately 500-page manga is aimed primarily at young girls, so it can be classified as part of the Shōjo genre.

action

En Nonomiya is a rather boyish girl. She hardly has any girlfriends and spends a lot of time with her sandpit friend Yohei. After a fight with a classmate, she is thrown out of school. Her father then sends her to a strict girls' school in another city. Although she is against it, she has to leave her friends and live with her young uncle.

She soon meets Chihiro Narushima from the neighboring Joyama boys' school. He tells her that the girls at the girls' school should be raised to be “young women”. He kisses her, but shortly thereafter makes a remark that is less well received by her. Her clothes meet with rejection in the strict school. The Maya gang, consisting of Mai Die, Kayo Abe and Maya Katagiri, makes it clear to her that she should obey the rules. Even so, she resists him and does not change her appearance.

She meets Chihiro again, who forces her to go out with her. On the way through the city they meet Maya's friend Asao, who can be endured by many girls. He tells him that the Mayan gang "rebukes" them every day. She seems to have found a friend in him to whom she can tell everything.
