Shirley Eckel

Shirley Eckel (born February 3, 1932 ) is a former Canadian hurdler .

At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver in 1954 , she was fifth over 80 m hurdles in 11.3 s with excessive wind support.

In 1952, 1953 and 1956 she was Canadian champion in this discipline. She set her personal best of 11.6 s on June 27, 1952 in Hamilton .
