Shoo-Be-Doo-Be-Doo-Da-Day

Shoo-Be-Doo-Be-Doo-Da-Day is a Stevie Wonder song written by him, Henry Cosby, and Sylvia Moy. Released on April 30, 1968 on Motown , the piece was the first song written by Wonders and also the first in which Wonder showed off his clavinet skills. The title was the first single from Wonder's album For Once in My Life , reached number 9 on the American Billboard charts and number 1 on the R&B charts.

Michael Jackson covered the song in 1972 for his album Ben ; Lindsay Planer from Allmusic rated his version as a "winner". Madonna recorded a new version for her album Like a Virgin in 1984 .
