Shorty long
Shorty Long (born May 20, 1940 as Frederick Long in Birmingham (Alabama) , † June 29, 1969 ) was an American singer.
Life
Frederick "Shorty" Long grew up in Birmingham, Alabama . In the late 1950s he toured the country with Ink Spots for two years . In the mid-1960s he received a record deal, but only had a chart success in 1968 with the song Here comes the judge . Long drowned on a boat trip on June 29, 1969.
