Siamak (musician)

Siamak (born June 5, 1979 in Tehran ) is a rapper of Iranian origin from Berlin, who is also known under the pseudonyms "Der Persische Punisher" and "Sia der Mak".

biography

Siamak was born in Iran in 1979 and immigrated to Germany with his mother in 1980. He grew up in Radolfzell on Lake Constance before moving to Berlin at the age of 19.

Siamak began his musical career as a freestyle MC. In 1998 he switched to rapping and met DJ Gunzales in 2000, with whom he founded the formation Equivalent in 2002 and became known throughout Germany through live shows. In the same year they published the freestyle tape "60 m freestyle". In 2004, the duo broke up and Siamak released the single Schau mir ins Menschen on the No Limits label, which also released the subsequent album Pimp of Persia in 2005.

In 2006 Siamak switched to the Berlin label Liquor Music and released the two mixtapes Liquor Lifestyle Vol. 1 and Liquor Lifestyle Vol. 2 .
