Siavash Shams (born January 26, 1965 in Ahwaz , Iran ) is an Iranian singer.

Career

Shams says he was discovered by his elementary school music teacher, who also encouraged him to follow his talent. Since 1985 the singer has released seven albums. While he initially only sang in Persian, since 1997 he has also been publishing songs in English and Spanish.

Private

At the age of 13 he emigrated to the United States with his family . He is married to the American Caroline Cooley.
