Sibylle Rieckhoff (* 1955 in Hamburg ) is a German children's book author .

Life

Sibylle Rieckhoff studied illustration and then worked as a graphic designer and art director in advertising. Her first children's book was published in 2000. Since then, over 70 books have been published by various publishers and have been translated into many languages. Her work focuses on topics that move children in everyday life or in their imaginations, from cleaning up to saying goodbye. The author likes to involve her readers in the action; The children can actively participate in many of the stories or learn through play.

Sibylle Rieckhoff lives with her family in Hamburg.
