Sidnei Rechel da Silva Junior , also called Sidnei , (born August 23, 1989 in Alegrete , Brazil ) is a Brazilian soccer player . He stands at Betis Sevilla under contract and plays usually in the position of central defender .

Career

society

In his youth Sidnei played for the Brazilian club SC Internacional . Even at the beginning of his professional career, he did not leave the club, but played for the Brazilians until 2008. On July 24, 2008 he signed a five-year contract with the Portuguese record champions Benfica Lisbon . In June 2011 it was announced that Sidnei would be awarded to Beşiktaş Istanbul in the 2011/12 season .

National team

Sidnei was called to the U-17 World Cup in Peru in 2005 and played every game except for the semi-finals. Also in the final, which was lost 3-0 to Mexico.
