Seventeen wins

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Seventeen wins is a simple dice game with a single dice and a dice cup for any number of players.

Style of play

Seventeen wins is played with a single dice and dice cup.

The game is played in turn. Each player rolls the dice once and the numbers on all dice are added up, but the total of 17 points must not be exceeded. If a player were to throw over 17, the throw is not counted and it is the next player's turn. The winner is the player who reaches exactly 17.

In one variant, the 17 may be exceeded, but then the throws are deducted until the 17 is reached or undercut again, in the latter case the total is added again. Again, the first player to reach 17 wins.
