Siegfried Unseld Prize
The Siegfried Unseld Prize was an international science and literature prize that has been awarded every two years since 2004 in memory of the publisher Siegfried Unseld . It was donated by the Siegfried Unseld Foundation on the occasion of his 80th birthday . The 50,000 euro award, which could be split up, was presented on Unseld's birthday, September 28th. Along with the Georg Büchner Prize , the Joseph Breitbach Prize and the Siegfried Lenz Prize , the prize was one of the most highly endowed literary prizes in Germany. The last award ceremony so far took place in 2012.
