Sieglinde Wittwer-Thomas

Sieglinde Wittwer-Thomas (born August 12, 1966 in Zurich ) is a Swiss artist.

Life

Wittwer-Thomas was born in Zurich in 1966 as the daughter of a graphic artist and a technical draftsman and, after studying art and music history at the University of Zurich , did further training at the HGKZ and completed the training for the district teaching diploma for artistic design from the HGKZ / Didaktikum Aarau.

Wittwer-Thomas has been working as a freelance artist since 1995. She works in her own studio in Wetzikon, Zurich Oberland. During study visits to Paris, Toronto, Dakar and several German cities. She works as a lecturer at the Wetzikon Art School, the Liechtenstein Art School and the Bündner Art School.

Sieglinde Wittwer-Thomas lives with her family in Wetzikon.

Her work includes printmaking, painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, sculpture, installation and art in public spaces. The focus of her work is the human being in his socio-political environment.
