Siegmar Henker (* 1942 in Bobenheim ; † October 29, 2009 in Bobenheim-Roxheim ) was a German marksman.

Career

Until an accident at work in 1971, executioner worked as a machine fitter. He has been paraplegic since the accident . Henker has been active in disabled sports since 1973, initially as an athlete in the disciplines of discus and javelin. He later switched to shooting sports and archery. Overall, he competed in six Paralympics for the German national team.

In total, Henker won 12 gold, 9 silver and 2 bronze medals at the Paralympics.
