Siegrun Klemmer

Siegrun Klemmer born Schulz (born June 13, 1939 in Danzig ) is a German SPD politician .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 1957 in Salzwedel , Siegrun Klemmer studied German language and literature and history in Hamburg from 1958 to 1960 and in Cologne from 1960 to 1963. After graduating as a qualified librarian in 1963, she worked in the public library system in Berlin until 1967.

Political career

Siegrun Klemmer has been a member of the SPD since 1970. She was a member of the German Bundestag for three terms from December 20, 1990 to October 17, 2002 . She was elected via the state list, most recently as a direct candidate in the Berlin-Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf constituency of the SPD in Berlin .
