The Sif Mons ( Latin for mountain of Sif , the Nordic goddess of vegetation) is a shield volcano on Venus .
The volcano mountain is about two kilometers high and 200 kilometers wide. It is located 22 ° North and 352.4 ° East. in the west of the Eistla Regio highlands . To the east of it there is the even larger volcano Gula Mons . Eruptions have never been observed on Venus.
