Sigrid Grossmann

Sigrid Großmann (* 1936 in Berlin ) is a German Protestant theologian . Her focus is on feminist theology and ethics .

Life

After completing secondary school, Sigrid Großmann first attended the higher commercial school in Saarbrücken. She then worked as a trustee secretary in a tax advisory office. In 1962 she graduated from the evening high school. From 1962 to 1969 she completed a teaching degree in Protestant theology and German at the University of Saarland . After a brief activity as a German teacher at the Goethe Institute in Helsinki in 1969, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Protestant Theology at Saarland University under Prof. Dr. Ulrich Mann . From 1973 to 1977 she worked there as an academic councilor . In 1977 she received her doctorate in Dr. phil. with a study of Friedrich Christoph Oetinger's conception of God . She then worked as an academic senior counselor at Saarland University. She has been retired since May 31, 1999.
