Sigrid Schneider-Grube

Sigrid Liane Schneider-Grube (* 1941 ) is a German educator and social worker.

Career

After graduating as a qualified pedagogue, she worked, among other things, at the Evangelical Forum in Munich and from 1975 to 1987 as a director of studies at the Evangelical Academy in Tutzing . At the end of the 1980s she was one of the initiators of the women's equality office of the Evangelical Church in Bavaria and headed it until she retired in 2005.

Honors

In 2011 she received the Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany "for her consistent advocacy for women in the church and in society."
