Sika Point
The Cape Sika Point in the West African country Gambia is in the range of the mouth of the River Gambia to the Atlantic Ocean . It is named after the small town of Sika, about four kilometers away .
The 11.2 kilometer long shoreline from Lamin Point to Sika Point has been under the special protection of a national monument since 1995, like James Island , which is a World Heritage Site . Between these two landmarks, which are 10.7 kilometers apart as the crow flies, are the places Albreda and Juffure .
On the other bank of the river, in a south-westerly direction, 5.6 kilometers away, is Liara Point .
