Lamin Point

The Cape Lamin Point in the West African country Gambia is in the range of the mouth of the River Gambia to the Atlantic Ocean on the northern riverbank. It is named after the small town of Lamin, about three kilometers away .

The 11.2 kilometer long shoreline from Lamin Point to Sika Point has been under the special protection of a national monument since 1995, like James Island , which is a World Heritage Site . Between these two landmarks, which are 10.7 kilometers apart as the crow flies, are the places Albreda and Juffure .
