Silva Ridge is a mountain ridge in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Mesa Range it leads to the summit of Sheehan Mesa on its northeastern side.
Scientists in a campaign from 1962 to 1963 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it after the Latin word for " forest ". The background to this name are tree fossils that were found in the middle of the mountain ridge.
