Simcoe Place is a skyscraper in Toronto , Ontario , Canada . The building on Front Street is 150 feet tall and has 33 floors. It was completed in 1995 by Carlos A. Ott and NORR. The building is characterized by a late modern architecture. The building was built for real estate company Cadillac Fairview . It was the only major building built in Toronto in the mid-1990s, during the first housing bubble.

As a special project, Mary Gooderham, a reporter for The Globe and Mail newspaper, accompanied the construction project for two years. It turned out to be 110 columns, which were then put together and published in a book called A Building Goes Up: The Making of a Skyscraper .

Facilities and tenants

In the hall there are several restaurants and cafés that are also open to the public. Several companies have rented office space in the building, including:
