Simon Dittrich

Simon Dittrich (born January 13, 1940 in Teplitz-Schönau ) is a German painter and graphic artist .

Life

From 1961 Simon Dittrich studied at the Berlin School of Fine Arts . He received a scholarship from the studienstiftung and was a master student at Hann Trier . In 1967 Simon Dittrich had his first solo exhibition at the Kunstverein Ulm , which has been followed by well over 200 solo exhibitions to date. The artist monograph Simon Dittrich appeared in 1975. Since 1976 various portfolios of fables, historical figures and people like Kant and Kleist as well as various cityscapes have been published.

Works by Simon Dittrich are in public and private collections in Germany and abroad.

Simon Dittrich lives and works in Stuttgart, Munich, Tuscany and Styria.
