Simon Doonan

Simon Doonan (* 1952 in Reading , Berkshire , England) is a British fashion designer , author and television presenter .

Life

Doonan trained as a fashion designer and particularly decorated the display windows of fashion stores in Reading and London. In 1978 he moved from England to California. Doonan worked, among other things, for the American fashion company Barneys in its store in New York City. He appeared on various British and US television shows as a television presenter and guest. He was a member of the jury on the television show Iron Chef America . In the US edition of America's Next Top Model , he was a guest on several occasions to give styling advice to the candidates. Doonan wrote several works as a writer. In 2008 Doonan married his longtime partner, the American fashion designerJonathan Adler , in San Francisco.
