The Simon Hegele Group is a Karlsruhe -based group of companies in the field of logistics services.

Company founder Simon Hegele ran a furniture transport company from 1920 and started with a simple team of horses. The vehicle fleet was expanded until the start of the war in 1939 and then requisitioned for war purposes . Simon Hegele died in 1945. After the Second World War, the business was resumed by Hegel's widow and children, although a large part of the company's assets had been destroyed by the war. Until the 1960s, moving transports and delivery trips of dairy products to retailers continued to be carried out mainly. Later they began to offer logistics services tailored to the customer processes. Today, Simon Hegele's subsidiaries have branches in countries such as Australia, Japan, Mexico and the United States.

The services offered include production supply, goods packaging and work on the pre- and final assembly of products, as well as taking over strategic and operational purchasing and supplier management. With a total storage area of ​​over 600,000 square meters, Simon Hegele takes over the entire spare parts logistics for his customers. With 250 specially equipped vehicles, the company transports large devices with sensitive, climate-sensitive electronic components. Customers in this segment include Siemens , Konica Minolta , Heidelberger Druckmaschinen , Stratasys and the NCR Corporation .
