Simon Oldesloe († March 1412 in Lübeck ) was a German merchant and mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

The respected Lübeck merchant Simon Oldesloe was one of the citizens of Lübeck who exposed themselves in the civil unrest at the beginning of the 15th century to the "old" Lübeck council, which was then expelled from the city in 1408 . He was a member of the Sixties Committee of Citizens. He was elected to the New Lübeck Council in 1408 . In 1409 he became mayor of Lübeck. In Lübeck citizens' wills he is listed several times as a documentary witness and guardian .

Simon von Oldesloe was married to a daughter of Lübeck councilor Dankward vom See . At first he lived in the house at Breite Strasse 53 , later at Breite Strasse 26.
