Simone Bauer (born August 2, 1990 in Burglengenfeld ) is a German author and presenter.

Life

Bauer grew up in Maxhütte-Haidhof and moved to Munich at the age of 17 to train as an industrial clerk. There she began to work as a music journalist. Sarah Kuttner is one of her role models .

Career

Her short story How Phoenix from the Ashes appeared in 2010 in the anthology Frühlingsflattern by Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf Verlag, for which she published three books until 2013. She presented one of them, her youth book alcohol-free , on ServusTV and “Talk im Hangar 7” on September 27, 2012.

She also wrote for the youth website of the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the online magazine LAXMag, and Bauer is a freelance writer for MISSY. In 2012 her short story Baby Blackout (And after the death of the sky) was published as an eBook by Frohmann Verlag.

In the same year she was part of the organization team for the event series “1,000 Pictures” in the Munich paint shop, where she also read and moderated from her debut novel.

Since October 2013 she has been a presenter for the egoFM program “Young Talents” and interviewed Laura Wontorra, among others. Since 2014 she has been working for the magazines of the Raptor Verlag on Japanese and South Korean pop culture. Bauer wrote the script for the animated music video Stranger In This World for Stefanie Heinzmann . In 2015 she interviewed Hayley Atwell for myFanbase.

In 2016 her novel It is complicated, but you was also published as an eBook by dotbooks. A new edition took place in August 2018 as a jump into life .

In 2017, Bauer read her text The Life of Old Ladies as part of the PULS reading series in the Alte Mälzerei in Regensburg . In the same year she interviewed Jella Haase for SPIESSER.

In 2018, Bauer won the Diana and Twentysix publishing house's writing competition with her short story Kyoto, Irene and the guy celebrate Christmas . Part of the profit was a publication by Twentysix Verlag. Her young adult fantasy novel Butterflies - The Goddess Will Rise As a result, was published in April 2018. On August 3, 2018, Bauer performed as a member of the Yume show group at the Mannheim Convention AnimagiC.

In 2019, Bauer was a guest at the "Literary Round" on the Connichi couch in Kassel.
