The Simonyhof is an urban residential complex of the municipality of Vienna in the 12th district of Meidling , which was built 1927–1928 according to plans by Leopold Simony .

Building description

The Simonyhof is located at Koppreitergasse 8-10 and is bordered by Erlgasse and Rollingergasse. It comprises 167 apartments on 14 stairs. It is a horseshoe-shaped structure around a garden courtyard open to the street. Without actually having any architectural forms of decoration, the complex combines historical and factual style elements. In the courtyard there were communal facilities such as a kindergarten and laundry.
