Simphiwe Nongqayi

Simphiwe Nongqayi (* 18th February 1972 in Border Post , South Africa ) is a former South African boxer in the super flyweight .

Professional career

In 2002 he started his professional career successfully. On September 15, 2009 he boxed against Jorge Arce for the world championship title of the IBF Association and won by unanimous decision of the judges. He defended this belt in April of the following year against Malik Bouziane with a draw and lost it to Juan Alberto Rosas through TKo in round 6.

In 2012 he ended his career.
