The Sine Tempore is a shopping center in Nur-Sultan , the capital of Kazakhstan .

location

Sine Tempore is located in the city center, north of the Ishim River . In the immediate vicinity of the shopping center there are numerous important cultural institutions and government buildings, including the Ministry of Finance. The square in front of the Sine Tempore is one of Nur-Sultan's central squares. An ice rink is set up there in winter. The Mega Center Astana is another large shopping center in the south of the city.

history

The shopping center was founded in Soviet times , making it one of the oldest of its kind in the city. Today's Sine Tempore was opened in 1978 under the name TSUM, which is a Russian acronym for Central Department Store . The associated building from the Soviet era still houses the department store in a slightly different form.

offer

The offer in the shopping center is diverse and extends over around 80 shops. Clothing, jewelry, decorative items, souvenirs and much more are sold. There is also a bank, several restaurants and bars, a beauty salon and childcare in the center.
