Single trip

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Single trips are trips that are aimed at single people who want to come into contact with other singles. The focus is on relaxation, fun and common activities. The search for a partner plays a central role. It is a form of package tour .

Form of travel

Even before the emergence of single trips, there were offers for single travelers, but only recently has the needs of single people looking for a partner been specifically addressed. More and more offers are emerging especially for singles. While in the past only club vacations were often offered, today there is a large travel offer for singles. The legal treatment is analogous to that of package tours .

A special form of single travel is the single vacation with child , in which single parents go on vacation with their children together with other single parents. Another are single trips for seniors .

concept

In the case of single trips, attention is paid to the ratio of men and women and the age structure of the participants. An accompanying tour guide is responsible for the leisure and sports program. A similar age structure and interests based on the choice of offer result in commonalities in the group, which makes it easier to get to know each other. The singles are obviously not meant to be paired up, however.

Singles who do not want to travel alone or with friends have the opportunity to travel in a group and at the same time get to know new potential partners with whom a lot is done during the trip.

Another reason for booking single trips is that singles don't just want to meet couples and families on vacation. Overcrowded family hotels and meeting honeymooners are not what travelers without a steady partner are looking for.

Studies show that this type of vacation is suitable for flirting, but not for finding a couple.

market

In the travel industry, the target group of singles is seen as growing. There are more and more tour operators who specialize in single trips, which offer an ever larger offer for this target group.
