Sinje Dillenkofer

Sinje Dillenkofer (born 1959 in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse ) is a German visual artist and photographer. She lives and works in Berlin and Stuttgart.

Career

Dillenkofer graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart in 1988 and has been working as a freelancer ever since. Her work has been shown in national and international exhibitions; currently since 2018 in the collection exhibition of the Victoria & Albert Museum London and the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature Paris, most recently including Muséum-Aquarium de Nancy, 2020, Kunstmuseum Stuttgart on the occasion of the nomination for the cube. Sparda Art Prize 2019, most recently u. a. Galerie BILDHALLE, Zurich, 2017, Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum Innsbruck, 2015 and in group exhibitions at Casino Luxembourg Forum d'Art Contemporain, 2017, Saarlandmuseum Saarbrücken, 2015. Works by Dillenkofer are represented in numerous public and private collections. Dillenkofer has been a member of the DFA (German Photographic Academy) since 1996 and of the German Association of Artists since 2003 . Berlin, of the Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg and since 2006 member of the DGPh (German Society for Photography). After teaching at the University of Applied Sciences in Pforzheim from 1992 to 1996 and at the Merz Academy in Stuttgart in 1993, she represented the then rector of the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, Paul Uwe Dreyer , from 2000 to 2004 Teaching.
