Sisko Istanmäki
Aino Sisko Istanmäki (born November 16, 1927 in Laihia , Finland ) is a Finnish writer .
Life
Aino Sisko Istanmäki was awarded the Finnish State Prize for Literature in 1971. Her most famous novel was published in 1995 with Liian paksu perhoseksi . A year later she received the thank you for the book medal . The book was made into a film under the direction of Heidi Köngäs and was broadcast on Finnish television in 1998 under the title of the same name. A German broadcast took place under the German title Not exactly a butterfly , whereby the TV Spielfilm described the film as "wonderfully laconic, simply lovable".
