Board of Directors

The board of a Bundestag session consists of three members ( § 8 GO-BT ):

1. The President of the Bundestag or one of the deputies
2. A secretary from a faction of a ruling party
3. A secretary from an opposition faction

Voting results on resolutions of the German Bundestag are often valued. All three members of the meeting committee must agree on this. If this is not the case even after the cross check, the mutton jump occurs .

The seats of the board of directors are in the plenary hall of the Reichstag building, slightly higher, directly behind the lectern. In the middle sits the President of the Bundestag or one of the deputies with a higher backrest, on the right and left the secretary.

The board of directors usually changes every two hours.
