The Skałki Twardowskiego in Kraków are a nature reserve in the Krzemionki Zakrzowskie in the Dębniki district .

location

The nature reserve was established on the southern foothills of the Kraków-Czestochowa Jura . It is part of the Bielany-Tyniec Landscape Protection Park and lies at an altitude of 200 to 230 meters above sea level. The karst formations of the park are protected. In the park there are the two caves Twardowski Cave and Light Cave as well as Lake Zakrzówek in the former quarry.

etymology

The nature reserve is named after the rocks, the name of which goes back to the Twardowski Cave .
