The Skaly Alekseja Leonova (English; Russian Скалы Алексея Леонова Skaly Alekseja Leonowa ) are a group of rocky outcrops in the Australian Antarctic Territory . They loom near the Cranfield Icefalls on the southern flank of the Darwin Glacier near its confluence with the Ross Ice Shelf .
Russian scientists named the group after the Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonow (1934-2019), who in 1965 became the first person to carry out an extravaganza in space.
