The 27th Ski Flying World Championship 2022 was awarded on May 17, 2018 at the 50th FIS Congress in Costa Navarino, Greece and is to be held on Vikersundbakken, the world's largest ski flying hill since 2010 , in Vikersund , Norway . Due to the limited number of ski flying facilities worldwide, the ski flying world championships traditionally alternate between the venues. As a result, Vikersund was the only applicant and was awarded the contract for the Ski Flying World Championships.
