Ski swing

A ski swing is the term used to describe the tourist and traffic connection between ski areas located in different valleys over the mountain ranges that separate these valleys. Here, can skiers or snowboarders with just one pass with the help of lifts , cable cars across interconnected ski slopes move from ski to ski.

Emergence

The increased use of chairlifts and cable car systems instead of low-capacity tow lifts resulted in a significant increase in passenger transport capacity as well as a significant increase in the speed of passenger transport, which today allows ski tourists to explore individual ski mountains in a much shorter time. The amalgamation of several ski mountains and valleys serves the partly resulting demand from ski tourists for more scenic, sporting and gastronomic variety with only a disproportionately low price increase.
