Les Trois Vallées is the name of a French ski resort in Savoy in the French Alps south of Moûtiers and Albertville . It is a ski swing between three valleys (trois vallées) , the Vallée des Belleville , the Vallée de Méribel and the Vallée de Courchevel ; there are also cable cars from the Vallée de Bozel and the Maurienne valley. This means that the ski areas of Courchevel , Méribel , Val Thorens / Orelle and Les Menuires / Saint Martin are seamlessly linked.

With over 180  ski lifts and around 600 km of slopes , it is the largest connected ski area in the world, according to the company. The ski associations Dolomiti Superski and Portes du Soleil cover more kilometers of slopes, but are not connected.

On December 29, 2013, the former Formula 1 racing driver Michael Schumacher suffered a serious skiing accident with head injuries in Méribel.
