Skyy Vodka
Skyy Vodka is an American vodka brand produced by the Californian company SKYY Spirits LLC. The brand belongs to the Italian Gruppo Campari .
history
SKYY Spirits was founded in 1992 by entrepreneur Maurice Kanbar in San Francisco, California. Kanbar developed a temperature controlled quadruple distillation process that aims to eliminate impurities. In addition, unwanted ingredients are removed in a triple filtration process.
The bottles initially consisted of uncolored glass. In 1993, the company decided on the minimalist designed and cobalt blue tinted bottles, which have since become a trademark for Skyy Vodka.

In addition to the standard version Skyy Vodka , which has an alcohol content of 40 % by volume and is offered in 0.7 and 1.0 liter bottles, there is also a premium version called Skyy 90 with 90 proof (45 Vol .-% alcohol content), which is created by adding water to a 100% distillate.
There are also flavors with pear, blood orange, apricot, cherry, lemon, cranberry, peach, apple, blueberry, pineapple, raspberry, watermelon, grapefruit, mango or strawberry under the name Infusion . These contain 35% alcohol by volume.
