Slaviša Pavlović (born February 5, 1982 in Ljubovija ) is a Serbian writer and poet .

life and work

In the beginning he only published poems in literary magazines. In the publishing house Alma he published the first story Prva pricest in the story collection The shortest stories . He became known as the author of the novel Zavet , which was published by Knjizevna omladina Srbije. For this novel he received the Pegaz Prize in 2010 ; thus Zavet became the novel of the year. The novel is about a Serbian family, the relationship between father and son and an impossible love between two enemies. This love is realized, but there is another background behind it. The storyline of the novel takes place during the First World War . There are many inferences in the novel that are expressed through contradictions. He also published the short story Cesma trgovca Alekse . In 2010 he took part in the Satira Festival. Then he drew attention to himself with a satirical story, Letter to Elvis . In 2011 he received the first prize for the best story at the Vojislav Despotov Festival. He also dealt with journalism. Today he lives in Belgrade .
