Sleazey Catz

Sleazey Catz was a Swiss party rock band based in Frauenfeld , founded in 1992 and disbanded in 2003.

The band was best known for their rock version of the folk song S'Vogellisi and their own composition De Walserblues . In the course of their careers, they performed on hundreds of occasions across Switzerland. They were also the official house band of the adventure gastronomy chain Villa Wahnsinn . Sleazey Catz consisted of the singer Marcel Brändli, the guitarist Mike Haller, the bassist Thomy Sprenger and the drummer Andi Kurz. In 1999 Markus Bernhard took over the drums and stayed with the band. After various keyboard players, Roly Aeschlimann joined in 1999, who was there until the end.

On May 24, 2013, after a ten year break, the band gave a revival concert in the Villa Wahnsinn in St. Gallen. The cast consisted of Marcel Brändli (vocals), Nataly Bernhard u. Madelaine Rascher (chorus), Markus Bernhard (drums), Tommy Sprenger (bass), Mike Haller (guitar) and Roland Aeschlimann (keyboard).
