The Slettholmane ( Norwegian for smooth, flat islands ) are a group of small islands off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . They are located east of the Publications Ice Shelf in the southeastern part of Prydz Bay .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them in detail using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 .
