The Slieve Bloom Mountains (or Slieve Blooms for short ; Irish Sliabh Bladhma , "Flammenberg") are a mountain range in Ireland , located in County Laois and County Offaly .

They are up to 528 meters high (a considerable height by Irish standards). The highest points are Arderin (Irish Ard Éireann , "height of Ireland") with 528 meters (= 1733 feet) and Baunreaghcong (Irish Bán Riabhach Conga ) with 514 meters (= 1357 feet). The fourth highest peak is Wolftrap Mountain ( Sliabh Ghaiste na Mac Tíre , "Wolfsfallenberg") with 487 m.
