The Znamensky Island ( Russian Остров Знаменского Ostrow Znamenskowo ) is a towering, almost circular and ice-covered island of about 4 km in diameter off the Oates coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located in Rennick Bay north of the mouth of the Rennick Glacier .
It was roughly mapped by participants in the Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1957–1958) and named after the hydrograph Konstantin Ivanovich Znamensky (1903–1941).
