history

Snap-on tools , in German, tools that snap into place, describes the basic idea of ​​company founders Joseph Johnson and William Seidemann. At the beginning of the 20th century, there were no sockets , ratchets or socket bits in industry worldwide . Johnson and Seidemann invented a system consisting of a set of ten attachable keys with five different handles. The new tool was tested by local tire dealers who quickly recognized the advantages of the new system.
