The Snowshoe Pass (English for snowshoe pass ) is a snowy mountain saddle in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Miller Range it lies between the Argosy and Skua glaciers .
Scientists in a campaign from 1961 to 1962 for the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it because they could only walk there with snowshoes because of the deep snow .
