Soadu

Soadu (Šoʿadū, Greek: Soades), son of Bolyada, was a caravan leader from Palmyra , who is known from inscriptions and was therefore an influential person. He was active around 132 to 147 AD. According to these inscriptions, at least 17 statues were consecrated in his honor in various cities ( Charax Spasinu , Vologesias and Genna ) of the Parthian Empire and in Palmyra. He dedicated an Augusti temple in the Parthian city of Vologesias .
